Abstract

Wheat is the chief cereal crop grown globally. Rusts are the most significant production restraint to wheat production causing yield losses and lowers the quality of grains. The fungal disease spread easily through wind and water and travel to vast distances. This disease can cause losses in wheat yield upto 70%. Also control measures of rust disease also is explained.
