Abstract

The relative toxicity of five insecticides studied in the laboratory against red cotton bug D. koenigii (Fabricius) revealed cypermethrin to be most effective insecticide followed by fenvalerate, monocrotophos, acephate and triazophos with their LCs values as 0.000152. 0.000972, 0.001071, 0.003308 and 0.004026 per cent respectively.
